The world cup

To be honest, i hate the football, the only time that i went to the stadium was with my dad , and this happened a long time ago, he invited me to see play his favorite soccer team "colo - colo" .  I remember that i was in the "white claw", a section of the stadium,  from there I end all relationship with football.
Mi opinion of the world cup is indifferent, because sincerely i dont have that patriotic feeling. I don't care if win or lose Chile.
But, if there is the only good thing of these dates is the happiness people , the daily routine is stoping, and i like it. The people share with other peoples, and that is very positive.
But sometimes all this becomes crazy , because many people do anything to get to brazil, to accompany "La roja" and they raise money or borrowing to travel, the airlines flights charge more expensive flights, and everythings also.
In Brazil have been protests because the people are with many problems and the government is not concerned for the real problems to the people.

class 8: My favorite book

Since i was small girl, I grew reading Mafalda. I remember the first books that I had, these are small, and they are separate for numbers according to history.

I love Mafalda because when I was a child, she identifies me, and she is a girl so inquisitive and she wonders for everything that happens in the world.

Mafalda has many friends:

Manolito is very funny , he always thinks in money , and he don’t like study , he only wants be working with his father in the store.

Susanita is a typical girl , sometimes upstart, and the only goal in her life is to become mother.

Miguelito is so tender and innocent, he always wonders many things, and his hair looks like a lettuce.

Felipe is the most imaginative, he always be imagining the gunmen histories , and he hate the school, he never wants his tasks.

Mafalda is a only child in her family (like me) , but later she will have a brother named Guille .

Well, I really love that comics, and I am so fans of its Argentinean creator: Joaquin Salvador Lavado, Quino

Now, i have every books to him, i have all mafalda, and many comic books to Quino.

class 7: A career-related website

From that i have memory, the funniest web site to watch videos has been YOUTUBE!

Well, ok. It is very common, but i really enjoy that, because  youtube have every things like films , short films, home videos, interviews , albums music, video clips, documentaries, and the many funny videos , wich have been watched for million of persons in the world!

Now,  i show you some curiosities ....

Youtube is not only a platform to watch videos, is also a platform to show your own videos.

class 6: My favorite film

Tomboy is a English word and it mean a girl look like a boy.
Céline Sciama, French director, make a film in 2011 about this.
Laure is a girl , she's 10 years old and she look likes a boy, she don't wear dress and she has a short hair .
The history begining when Laure and her family move home in a new neighborhood. There Laure looks other children playing in the streets and she wants new friends. The conflict happen when a girl , Lisa , gets wrong Laure with a boy, and Laure begins take that rol . Laure creates a new name by herself , Michael. But she has a little sister Jeanne thats boring in house, and she discovers the lie's sister. Now Laure must takes to Jeanne play with others children.  Both take the lie until end.
It a great film about childhood, and the relations . I really love that.

class 5: The photograph you like the most

I really have not a only one favorite photograph, bat ... There is a film called "Baraka", that i like so much. In this film there are not dialogues and dramatic histories , just it is only pictures, it's only visual film.
His director is Ron Fricke and the photograph director is Koyaanisqatsi.
This film was filmed in twenty four countries and this relates about the humanity and earth evolution at the same time relate how is the relation between the human with the environment to years.
The delicacy human is contrasted with nature in a unequal relations , and the spirituality is a human character differential of the other species.  In this film you can see little pieces of religious, tribes, cultures nations, dances, and diversity  landscapes .
The title "Baraka" come from the origin Sufi word ( a religious Islamic community) and it means: life breath.

This is my favorite album song of the singer Imelda May. Her really name is Imelda Mary Higham, she is from Irish country and she was born in July,1974 at Dublín City.

She began her professional career in 2003 with her first album "No turning back" and the second album "Love Tattoo" in 2007 which was a numer one in Ireland that year.

Her first musical influences was flok and rock&roll, she is fan of the rockabilly and blues music, and her music (special this album) is a mix of the rockabilly , blues and jazz. It's really wonderful! 

I really love this singer because her voice is the best for me, her look is great and there are not other singer like she. she is only. 

Since 4 years , Imelda recorded her last album "Mayhem" and this was top one again in Ireland and United Kingdom.

Class 3: My favorite piece of technology

Is not difficult to know which is the favorite piece of techonology for a film-making student.
well, obviously...

it is a camera ! I really love this! because I feel that cameras can capture moments of life that never will come back. When I see the pictures (this is something that I do constantly) I travel to that moments. I feel that cameras are like a time machine. I can't  imagine life without pictures :(
Maybe, we became inmortals through photos. I really think that.

Class 2: Expectatons 4 a new semester

I have many expectation for this year, I believe in a great 2014.
First year of career was introductory, with subjects about film-making and others subjects of communications. The second year was guide to documentary films, last year (3) was a great year because I learned many things about fiction films. I directed my first short film. It was a great experience for me. This year I am studying all about television. I have subjects like workshop of television, tv script, image postproduction, production. And others subjects shared with journalists like Latinamericans perspectives and Investigation to opt for the degree.

In my free time I do others activities like dance, in the university are many options to dance. I had play flamenco and sports in the gym .
I really hope finish the semester with my all subject pass. I want watch many films pending and above everything no stop the dancing.

class1 : Introduction myself

This is me.

Hi! My name is Indira, i am 21 years old, I am studying cinema and television , this is my 7 semester at the University of Chile. Saturday is my birthday, April 5. It's been a long time since i started my studies.
The time had runned fast.
I am vegetarian since 3 years approximately.

I like dance, I play flamenco dance since two years approximately. This years i would like playing more dances.

My favourite films are:

... and many films that i dont remember now.

I love dogs, i am doglover.

Something i enjoy singing (bat usually i am very shy)  or playing guitar, now i learning charango, i can play 3 songs, no more, no less.

I hope to continue learning and i believe in this year , how a great year, at least for now.
